Select a Phonics Instructional Focus
  1. Use the Sound Spelling(s) drop-down menu to select a particular phonics instructional focus.
  2. Click Search to see your results.

Scroll down to see all the passages with that particular phonics instructional focus.

Each passage has the following:
  • Author and title
  • Instructional focus highlighted in green
  • Irregular words (words that do not adhere to the particular instructional focus)
  • An illustration
  • Passage Text
  • Two comprehension questions to stimulate further thinking
  • A link to the author's other work in Find A Decodable Book.
