Find a Decodable Book Quick Start Guide
Find a Decodable Book allows you to search for decodable books by vowel sound(s). View a book's percentage of vowel sounds and words grouped by spelling patterns.
- To search for decodable books, select a particular sound from the Vowel Sounds drop-down menu.
- Click Search to see your results.
From the results page, title, author, and jacket art are visible from the results page. Hovering over a particular book will provide additional information, including series name, categories, percentages of the top two sounds, and the total number of words in the book.
The results can be filtered and sorted further using the
drop-down menu:
- Percentage Match
- Word Count (High to Low and Low to High)
- Lexile Measure (High to Low and Low to High)
Click See 25 More Books to view additional results.
- See general book information such as page count, total word count, etc.
